What We’re About

Our Mission: St. Dominic’s Youth and Young Adult Group (SDYG) exists to provide the youth of St Dominic’s Parish an avenue to building a deeper, more meaningful relationship with God through prayer, scripture study, service to the community and dedication to the mission of the church. We create a welcoming, caring, healthy and spirit-filled enviornment for this to take place.

Our vision for this community is to become united, visible, vital and a essential part of our parish faith community. We are striving to empower each other, young and old alike, to live as faithful followers of Christ. We are working with the Pastor to become more integrated into parish life through our service and actions. This group will also select, train and foster the developement of the youth and young adults that come through the program and show a willingness to act on this important calling. We seek to strengthen this community by being evangelical in nature in order to seek out and include all young people in our parish, regardless of cultural or ethnic background.
